Pollution in all worlds?
So, SimGuru Jill said that we'll be able to have those community shared spaces in other worlds as well. Since the sims on the trailer basically used these spaces to take votes on how they could improv...

You definitely should NOT feel terrible - their track record haven't been the best lately, and A LOT of people didn't expect this of them, because they haven't given us a reason to trust them to give us features that effects all worlds - just take island living for example - swimming should definitely have been available in all worlds.
I've said this in a different thread, and I can't find the source of this thought, but I seem to remember a guru saying in an interview or something that expanding swimming to all worlds broke old saves, which is why swimming is confined to new worlds going forward.
Not saying that IL wasn't light on content (I only use it occasionally) or a precedent for people making certain conclusions about EL, but that particular point was a coding issue that they only left out because they had to.
Yeah I remember too. It has something to do with changing the water terrain or something like that. If water was swimmable from base game island living would probably have had room for a lot more since I think a lot of the budget was spent on making the ocean swimmable
