So, SimGuru Jill said that we'll be able to have those community shared spaces in other worlds as well. Since the sims on the trailer basically used these spaces to take votes on how they could improve the world and stop polution, do you think it's possible that, with the Eco Lifestyle EP, all the worlds could be poluted over time? Since they picked such a niche theme, I think it's only fair that we get this option, because otherwise we would only be able to use this pack's features in Evergreen Harbor. Plus, despite being utterly disappointed with this EP, the only aspect I really like in it is the world before it's cleaned. Since all Sims 4 worlds are so pretty and green, I think it's a nice change of scene to have a dirty almost post-apocalyptic world.On the other hand, if this is a possibility, I sure hope we can toggle it in the options, cause nobody will want to deal with pollution in every single playthrough.So, what do you guys think? I'd love it, if the pollution would come in other worlds too... but I fear it will not and it will be a la Sulani, where the conservation thing is.

I think that the voting is to make the community space better in different ways. They talk about a makers community space, a community garden, an entertaiment space, i think they even mention something like workout... I think that this could be not directly related to pollution control. It would be awesome if we could trigger the 'pollution system' in any world but i wouldn't expect that...

I am sure there will be a mod created at some point otherwise that will make it possible to trigger the pollution system in the other worlds as well... now where it is in the game, i have no doubt someone will figure out to transfer it to other worlds too, if we dont already get that included... but it would be cool if it was, like with seasons

I would love it if effected all worlds like Seasons does.

A pollution mechanic that affects all worlds would be interesting, there are however so few things in the sims that affects pollution, if everything you do in the sims would add or reduce pollution, then maybe. I just don't get what causes the pollution in the first place. Throwing trash on the ground does not cause the air to go bad. In fact, throwing the trash in the bin causes it, because it goes to a factory that burns them. Recycling does reduce pollution but it is on such a small scale in the trailer. That small amount of trash that you are recycling would not reduce the pollution in the world a bit, I assume that comes from industries, changing community lots would have no effect.

OMG this is so incredible... it has just made it an incredible expansion... this is big... can you imagine how cool it will look in San Myenos, that can now become more dark like... and even more modern city like where smog is all over...

me too... i really feel excited by this... i already liked a lot of build and CAS but as i am not much of a crafter and maker i wasnt sure if i would want to buy it as expansion price... but i am tempted now after learning this... that it will be in my whole game... i cant wait to make a windtubine town maybe in briddeltonbay and turn newcrest into a completely destroyed dead city, or maybe magnolia street as it is boring now, this way i could turn it into the dark dead zone, use the incredible call of duty build out there... and have it be a left over war zone...

now things have become more interesting, if the worlds are going to be polluted it will be much more fun to play or even utopian. so it’s almost the oasis lading system that in everyone, besides I’m not going to lie that I’m going to “love” leaving the worlds very “cute” a little spoiled.

Also a pity that strangerville is not hitting and I understand the reason behind it (maybe it’s the same code base that impacts the world) But I suppose some modder unlocks it (like snow in the same world)

I just hope there is a toggle like seasons weather - I don't want to have to deal with pollution in all my saves

EDIT: also, I can't wait to see what weather will look like in conjuction with pollution. A heavily polluted San Myshuno Spice District during a thunderstorm, anyone? I hope all the trash and cars spawn in existing towns like it does in the Evergreen Harbour town.

I know right? I also realized another one that would be so cool... imagine putting it in university world, and let it be something the two universities will have to come together to fight and bring down... something the two campuses will bond over, and how you will suddenly have the two interacting with each other as they cant bring it down alone...
