There's a lot to love in this pack. Death has never been a big part of my gameplay. I'm too attached to my favorites to let anything bad happen to them. But I can see turning accidental deaths back on for my unplayed households or minor characters. They added so much to ghosts that in the right story they could be a lot of fun. Paranormal has always been one of my favorite packs and this one takes that gameplay to another level. I love to play Willow Creek as a Sims New Orleans. The ghostly gameplay fits nicely into that haunted voodoo vibe that NOLA is famous for.
The part I'm looking forward to the most is Ravenwood. Seeing the world just stirs up so many ideas for vampire gameplay. Hearing them talk about Neo-Romanian architecture really got my inner vampire geek...well...geeking out! I love the idea of modern vampires, but my favorites are the classic Dracula type. This looks like it will make that so much easier and better. The CAS and build mode are a lot better than what we got with Vampires. It's so easy to see ways to use this one as an extension of Forgotten Hollow. Or at least pair them together as neighboring cities/territories. To me Forgotten Hollow already feels like it fits in as a mysterious neighborhood on the fringe of Ravenwood. Even if you don't combine the two worlds in your head canon this pack will let you really spruce up Forgotten Hollow and make it feel even more vampire-ish.
