Can we put other pictures in this frame or just the CAS household portraits?
The frame will only accommodate a game generated household portrait. You will have limited control over the outfits and the pose of the Sims in the portrait, and you can lock the photo to save it, but that’s all. Unless, a modder decides to add it as an option, you can’t add your own photo.
So if you want to have, say, a gallery wall with portraits of your family at different ages, would you buy one, set it, lock it, and then when you're ready for the next one, buy a new portrait, then set it and lock it, and so on?
I didn't even know we already had family portraits to place on walls. Learn something new each day 🤩
The older family portrait shown in Crin’s X post was only offered as a freebie for TS4 if you downloaded the Sims Mobile app a long time ago. I’m not sure how long the older family portrait was available, because the promo was removed before I could get it.
