I don't have Vampires so I can't speak for that. I like all the GPs I have, and I agree that Parenthood is the best. :D Among the ones left, I'd recommend Dine Out as well, because eating out at restaurants is something one might do often. I know I tend to have my sims dine out every now and then, and it's always a decent option for date night.
You can also run your own restaurant. Not sure if you'd like that but it's fun, although in my experience it's not very profitable.
