Possible item hinting Seasons exp?

People have noticed this before, but I think SimGuruDrake said that this wasn't a hint, but instead a bio the sims team found cute and funny

Its only really cute and funny in the context of The Sims and its lack of weather. In every day life if i saw that in a bio i would think "you sure like to take a lot of time to say nothing"

I would be willing to wager that Seasons will be an EP over a GP. The purposes of EPs are to expand the entire game whereas GPs are supposed to bring in a fleshed out aspect. Granted I think these rules have been bent slightly (City Living introduced a fleshed out aspect whereas Parenthood expanded family play significantly) but Seasons have typically been the biggest game changer and it will be one where they will really want to push sales on.

I never like to say the team "hint" in game (cats and dogs clothing have been in base game, Kids Room and City Living and Cats and Dogs came way after those) but there have been lots of Seasonal mentions (in CAP particularly) which makes me think it's more than a coincidence...

Really hope that if it's out, seasons is a EP, Cause there will be more in the pack.

I am pretty sure that they are going to do Seasons the question is when the Sims series would not be what it is is with out it. Miss my Scarecrow's scarf blowing in the wind Sims 2.

If anything I'd say those cats and dogs trees are hinting at seasons the most. I wonder to what extend the expansionpack team thinks about what their next project is while working on the current EP project or if its something they have done KNOWING the next project would be seasons considering they have almost a full year to work on an EP so I can imagine that they know what they're gonna work on next.

I once heard/read one of the gurus mention they have to think about future content whilst still working on the previous thing because it needs to work together/has effect on each other like toddlers with pets for example.

They have things planned out way in advance, so yeah they know what the next thing is and what they are going to create. I would be surprised if Seasons isn't going to be the next EP, but we never know.

Seasons is just a given, I imagine it's also a pack that takes a huge amount of work to create when created well, so I'm happy to wait it out in the knowledge that it obviously is coming to TS4.
