After Get Famous, from time to time some interesting decisions pop up in some careers. One of them is "Prepping for Disaster" where your sim has the option to buy a private island and get ready for Armageddon. If you pick this option your sim will gain some fame but will lose his/her current job.
It would be really interesting if there was a private island where your sim would be living from that moment on. Since such island doesn't exist in the game all the fun is gone, because if you pick the option, its actual effect in the game will be your sim being fired from his job. (The sim will gain some fame too, but not enough to compensate his professional loss.)
