Problems with Romance options

So, have they gotten to really high romance/flirty mood during your attempts? Especially if they haven't had their first kiss (where the game registers it) + aren't dating, they'll need to be in a high enough romantic mood to get certain "higher scale romance actions" like kiss/woohoo/etc. Once you unlock it with the first kiss and/or start dating it should be available from the get go and so you don't have to build up too much of the right mood in the future. I think.

EDIT: Were they promised sweethearts as teens? I think I heard that can cause some romance errors.

Some interactions don't unlock until you have a high enough charisma skill. Get at least one sim flirty (freshen up at a mirror, steamy shower, etc) and then select the interactions with the pink on them to make the target sim flirty. You will be boosting both the charisma skill and the romance bar as well.

Has one of the sims aged up to young adult while the other is still a teen?

Both sims are YA, their friendship and romance bars are maxed. There is no option for first kiss, woohoo, try for a baby, kissing but they did kiss on their own but the option isn't there to have them do it.

Have you checked your mods for updates?

It you see stuff like flirt, blow a kiss, &
compliment appearance under romance, just try a few of those to get them in the mood. It does increase the number of options the more flirty they are at the moment.

Test without any mods. Take out all the mods, start up the game, try the interactions, see if they work. Then exit without saving and put the mods back. This will at least tell you if it's something in the game mechanics or being caused by a mod. (If it's a mod, 50/50 method to figure out which one)

Ok, I haven't been in that household in a while so I checked and all their romance options are there. Strangest thing I ever saw. I don't know what changed lol.
