Ranch Lot Type:SpoilerJust regular Residential. You can keep horses on all residential lot types except for Apartments and Penthouses, though. They don't fit in elevators, and can't climb the stairs at the walk-up apartments.
Farm Hands:SpoilerI've seen mine clean a cow and an animal shed, also socialising with chickens. Haven't seen feeding or chickens or llamas yet. He'll also help garden the giant crop beds that came in Cottage Living.
Animal Enthusiasts:SpoilerAnimal Enthusiasts have their extra socials available on mini-sheep. I'd assume it's the same with the goats. Haven't tested on horses.
Nectar Age Restrictions:SpoilerTeens can order and drink nectar from bars. Teens can pour and drink nectar from bottles. Kids can't do either, and can't drink nectar from a prepared glass either.
