@ EmmaVane, I knew about the wishing well but would prefer a simple well and or water pump for my gameplay taking place in the past. I had forgotten about gathering water from ponds, and I enjoy having them on my farms so my families can relax after a hard day's work. Thank you for your suggestions as they got me thinking! It's the smaller lots I need to work with so can fit what I need on it. The water pump would have been perfect! Maybe I can build a very small pond to use as a spring! That just might work, especially if I place the new pump near the spring. Thank you again!
