I'm curious to learn how Romance Satisfaction works for rotational play. If you're not playing a couple, will their satisfaction tank? Will unplayed couples have autonomous actions that affect how they get along? Is there a chance the heartbreak moodlet could get spammed autonomously and kill Sims when you're not playing them?
I noticed that currently, I have a couple who seem to autonomously have negative interactions that take a huge chunk off their romance bar. Just concerned how much worse that could be with the pack installed.
I haven't completed a rotation yet to be able to say, but some info that may help:
If they have a Romance Dynamic, that autonomy should follow them into the wild, not only when they are actively being played, though I don't know if it dictates every interaction between a couple, or just influences interaction type percentages. Having a Steamy or Wholesome Dynamic should help increase positive interactions between your sims when they appear in the world.
If they have high Romantic Satisfaction when you rotate away, they should passively gain pink bar/romantic relationship level over time even when not interacting, which could counteract self-sabotage, at least to the pink bar.
The impact I would worry about here is the damage to Romantic Satisfaction by being Mean, which could possibly cause a break up (if enabled in NS). I know they can autonomously break up when active as it's stated in Options, but the inactive NS description doesn't say anything specific about break ups, just relationship damage.
It's something that will take time to be certain of, I'm afraid.Do preexisting NPC couples automatically have dynamics as well? For example, do you see the Pancakes cussing each other out in public?
It occurs to me that newly spawned NPCs might never develop dynamics with other NPCs since they don't enter into relationships autonomously... right? (I use MCCC so I don't quite remember what Neighborhood Stories can and can't do without it.)
Sims won't automatically get them immediately, but they could potentially get them over time via interacting together. You can add them on yourself to premades/townies though (might need cas.fulleditmode if they have been played previously).
So far, I've only seen the Pancakes stargazing on benches.
NPCs can have relationship changes with NS (friendly and/or romantic) so Dynamics could develop over time.
