You can shrink the regular cakes in the game, as well as absolutely every other food that can be cooked or baked, so I'd assume the same is true of the wedding cakes.
Honestly, I haven't found anything I've tried to sell at a retail location which cannot be both shrunk or made larger, as desired. Most of the time I go with "larger" in my retail locations. Things like the produce, mayo, custard, honey, etc. just look better on shelves in the grocery store when they are one-step bigger, but I'm not adverse to going a step smaller to make these cakes fit in the "Frigidaire refrigerated displays".
@Stormkeep Okay thanks. Good to know. It would be a shame to have to make them smaller though. They are so pretty. I want to make them bigger. Maybe I can sell them on a table if they don't spoil very fast. I will just sell cakes baked fresh every day. I haven't played with a bakery in so long, I forgot how it all works.
You can also make your sim finish the chef aspiration first, then their food won't ever spoil.
