Question about Get Together ep
Because relations in TS4 are so quickly and randomly changed for non played families, I thought of getting the Get together EP while it's on sale to benefit from those groups. But my game is starting ...

Question #1:
Yes, sims who are in the club gathering do have the semi transparent octagon above their head with their club icon. Club leaders also have a crown on the octagon. This changes color to green if the member is doing the club activities and to red is the member is breaking the rules.

Yes, when creating a club, you can choose any sim that matches the requirement even if your sim doesn't know them. However, if you can't add the sim you want, he/she may be at work/school at the moment. You can add them once their work/school ends.

I can answer that question two ways:
1. When you create a club or have a club, you can choose new members by clicking on the + icon in the members panel and choosing new members. Clubs have to have at least 1 member to exist but there must be at least 2 members in order to start a gathering. You can also get new members by asking them to join your club in person. Other sims may also call your sim and say that they want to join the club.
But do remember, if you have set your club to Open Invitation, all members can add new members. If the club is set to Invite Only, only leaders can add new members. Please remember that you have a limit. At start it is 6 sims but with perks you can raise it up to 8 sims.
2. If in your game the club count reaches below 10, the game will generate a new club with random townies. NPC clubs won't automatically get new members, so you can make your sims join to club to keep it alive or create enough clubs so the game won't have to create new ones.
