- I like playing these types of lots. Here are some tips.
Have all of the sims on this lot have work-at-home jobs. Set up a lot that's an office or building with separate offices and have them in an office club and send them there for work so you control who is gone when.
You can have one of the sims on the lot run a daycare out of their house, and everyone can leave their kids with him or her when they go.
Use LIttleMsSam's door locks to have more control over locks.
Have a door between the living room and the rest of the house. This way, you can set it up so that people from the other homes can "visit" you and go into your living room, but they can't help themselves to your fridge or sleep in your bed.
Even though they all get their mail from one mailbox, you can set up a line of mailboxes to simulate different addresses.
I've played these kinds of lots before. You just have to do a little extra to make them work. - SimAlexandria6 years agoSeasoned Ace

THose are great ideas! Little Ms Sam has a daycare mod too haha but not sure it'd work for this scenario since it brings all the toddlers in the world to your door and they are already, technically there. - bandcampsquirrel6 years agoRising Traveler

Thanks for this tip! Im so excited to try this lot. I found it on the gallery and downloaded it and made some changes so they had a community pool and basketball park, which took forever, got it all done just to find out I couldn't play it that way, lol Anywoo, thanks so much!
