Question about the new Snowy Escape career?

Could anyone tell me what the title of the new career is? I've heard some Game Changers call it the "Money Person" career, while others have been calling it "Salary Person"...is it called something different based on which country the game is released in? If so, which name will be the title in the U.S. version?

Also, any information about this new career would be appreciated...from what I understand it is some kind of Businessman/Corporate Office career?

Am I the only one fuzzy on this?

  • This is from platinum sims:

    Salary Person.

This is the only new career in the pack. Japan is known for it’s strong work ethic and long work hours, this career represents that.

The hours are long, you have chances of working late. Your Sims can also feel guilty when they do, and bring gifts for their household. The career has 2 branches, Expert and Supervisor.

Awesome! Thank you so much for clearing this up...it's silly but I like to write a bio for each family I play, and it includes what careers, traits, and skills that I think fit best for that family's story/play style.

I am excited to try this new career because the Business career never felt "busy" like business is in real life.

    Happy Simming!
  • I was wondering today which university majors are associated with this career, but I couldn’t find the info. I just enrolled 8 students today. But I now have different careers in mind for them so it’s no big deal.

  • Can the new Workaholic Lifestyle work will all careers or just the Salary Person career?

Omgoodness I was wondering this too! I would guess Economics? That would make the most sense I think...which major do you think it will be?

My best logical guess would be that the Workaholic Lifestyle would be an option for all careers...maybe it is determined on promotions and the career bar progress?

I've read on the Sims community website that it depends on if your sim usually works hard, completes daily tasks, and how often he takes days off.

I think Economics is a good guess. The two branches usually go with different majors. Maybe the other one is Language and Literature or Communications?

Oh wow! I never noticed that there are two majors for every career...thanks for mentioning that (sometimes I am so unobservant lol)! I think your guess of Communications is an excellent one; it would make sense since Business is already one of its associated careers.
