You can befriend a vampire, but good luck on befriending normal sims as that is going to be difficult.
Yeah I had a hard time with the loves the outdoors trait. Plus I kept going evil with the cast hallucination and feeding on the unwilling. I made it even harder and impossible to do. I think I should start out as a human to get the aspiration then become a vampire. Then when I ask for a drink, they'll let me.
