Question? Aging up

There was a bug a while ago making many sims push next birthday after leaving CAS. I think this was fixed in a patch.

Perhaps your game caught that bug, but not the following patches? Did you repair?

There was also a feature added giving Sims random ages. So instead of each Sim being at the very beginning of the lifestage in which they were created, they were staggered...

Oh, I did not know. What a strange thing to do with sandbox game like this. I'd much prefer being allowed to set the lifestage AND age myself. I want to play my way, not the random way.

Have you updated your game? You may wish to do that so you'll get any and all bug fixes.

yes, I have updated and repaired my game and it still happens. Thank you for trying to help though

I have updated and repaired my game and it is still an issue. Even using the potion of youth only gives her a couple of days before aging up again.

@marleenw51 you could always go in to game options & turn aging off for active sims then manually age them up when you're ready to.

@marleenw51 Sorry this is happening in your game. My game is completely patched and until a couple of days ago my Sims were aging fine and then the aging glitch invaded my game, not sure how but when I left my game My Sims were not even close to having their birthdays and the next time I loaded my game its telling me my dad Sim and child sim are aging up and sad from missed birthdays and I wasn't a happy simmer myself. I didn't play for a couple days and now the aging bug seems to be gone, not sure what going on in my game and hope yours in fixed soon.

I have updated and repaired my game every day since this started happening (4 days ago) and it is no better. So disappointing and discouraging. I love playing The Sims and have always played since Sims 1. This issue is making it hard to enjoy my game play. I have other issues in my game as well, not just aging. I may remove all mods and custom content and just play my game vanilla style and see if that doesn't help with the issues.

I’m curious, could this be another aging bug since the last update?
