Question for those who have done Generations in other Sims!
I know we don't have info on how S4 is going to work but in the others... could you link grandparents that were already made and moved into their own house as grandparents?

The family trees in the sims 2 and 3 did recognize grandparents, yes. As for moving in, there was no specific action to ask grandparents to move in as caretakers, but I'm sure they could be asked to move in when playing TS3. TS2 works different with moving in and you have to merge households from the neighborhood screen.
