Question on the Sims 4 Movie Hangout Stuff Pack

This pack was released Jan 12, 2016. The primary feature of this pack was what . . . that's right, watching movies. The pack was bugged shortly after release and has yet to be fixed. The bug occurs...

And you say your Movies worked before the latest patch but I know mine (and many others on the forums) have not had movies work since shortly after the pack was released. I'm interested how yours worked, I'd gladly use a work around if one was available to fix the movies.
