I can't answer the first two since I haven't really played in a while.
The third, I felt it added to the teen life-stage. The school and its game play felt underwhelming, yet the bobba-tea shop, social bunny app, the trendi store and computer streaming set-up gave a little more life to teens.
I had to some work to really enjoy this pack.
There is a mod that allowed me to choose what sims showed up as students at the school. I forgot how I did it, but I was able to choose the teachers too. And I edited the principle.
I built replaced the school because the given one is very bland and boring.
Prom feels too short and dates at the board walk are a bit meh. I've only did it twice and really don't feel the need to go there other than to see how nice it looks. They could have at least added a little arcade with the love machine, claw game, to fish for prizes, and other games, like the sims 3 had.
