Questions from simmers without seasons for simmers with seasons

Hi, I won't be buying the pack for a while still so I was hoping some of you with the pack could answer some questions for people like me without the pack.

1. What happens when you place traditionally inside furniture outside? Does it get covered with snow?
2. If you have cc, does the cc get covered in snow?
3. Which items are not covered in snow from. Different packs.
4. Do pools have weather effects like raindrops?
5. Do puddles disappear in 15 game minutes like in the videos that was released?
6. How do seasons look like when they transition like from summer to fall and fall to winter, winter to summer.
7. Do the very far backgrounds change at all?
8. How do bees worked compared to those from sims 3?
9. Has anyone seen the easter bunny? How does it work?

Feel free to ask you own questions about the pack and thanks to everyone willing to answer ^^
  • @fullspiral: you might want to look at this thread; scroll down to the post by @SageRainWillow. You may also enjoy @kalaksed's thread here, which covers the same topic with a little more detail.

My question: what holiday traditions, if any, do the other expansion, game, &/or stuff packs add? Someone (sorry, forget who it was) said that City Living allows us to add fireworks to our holiday traditions, but do they actually show up in the custom holiday traditions menu? I won't get Seasons for awhile, but I'm amusing myself making up a variety of holidays, and would like to know if there are more traditions I'll be able to play with than the ones SimsVip lists here, and SimsCommunity details here.

    Thanks In Advance! ;)

  • Yes Everything gets covered as far as im aware of

  • Yes!! Its gorgeous!!!
  • There is a little box and they stay in there but can be seen in flowers if close. When you hover over it shows the stats. Personally I LOVE the bees.

No - there are only 5 grand meals: breakfast, fish, turkey, tofurkey, and ham.
  • Unfortunately, no. It's only one shape.

As far as floral arranging goes can someone tell me how intricate they can get at the highest level? How many different flowers can be used in one arrangement and how many different vase styles are available?

I have a maxed flower arranger, so if there's pics of anything you want to see in particular, let me know. I tried to screenshot as many options as possible for you, and a sampling of the various flower screens. Every scent you use gives you a different effect. Warning for everybody else.... spoilers ahead.

    Spoiler

Thank you. I was hoping there was different shapes of vases and not just different colours.

How do pets react to the seasons? Likewise, do cats or/and dogs bite at or try to catch the snow?

    Thank you in advance :)

lol that is funny :D. Are sims or pets able to track rain or snow in the house?
  • Do skating rinks or anything else spawn on the island in Windenburg?

Are you able to play just one season? In Sims 3 you could create a never ending in winter..

I haven't tried the weather machine yet but I believe this would be the only way to achieve this. Otherwise, the worlds have set weather. e.g. it doesn't naturally snow in Selvadorada.

I haven't experienced this personally but I saw pictures of a dog hiding under a bed through a storm. I plan to adopt a cat soon and will report back if I discover something new.

Do sims autonomously complete holiday traditions?

Do club gatherings work during holidays?

1-My sims usually don't autonomously complete traditions.
    2-I haven't tried so I don't know.
