Ranch Hands Question
Does the gender of the played Sim affect the gender of the hired ranch hand?
When I first got Horse Ranch, I tried to hire a female Sim as a love interest to my Simself, but I only ended up with male Sims, and I fired and hired about half a dozen.
Recently, I played one of my other households (which is all female) and hired a ranch hand as the amount of work was getting out of hand. The game spawned a female ranch hand. The irony is that what I intended to do with my Simself happened with her instead--she autonomously fell in love with her ranch hand. Thus, I moved the ranch hand in with her.
So, to test that theory, I switched back to my normal household, and had my Sim's wife hire the ranch hand--and a female ranch hand showed up again.
I still plan to try with multiple households of different sizes to see what happens.
