No radiators in the game (except that old looking one from Vampires) baffles me as well, I remember building an apartment recently and I reacted on how weird it looked with no radiators around. Especially in rooms with windows.
There is also a huge difference in "cold weather" clothes. Like on one end you have the Cottage Living and City Living stuff (thin jackets, maybe a scarf, maybe a sweater, always open jackets) and on the other you have the Snowy Escape stuff which is true actual cold winter wear as we (and Canadians, and Russians and whatever) recognize it. You know, that keeps you warm in -25 centigrade.
