@Mrs_K_Desormeaux
I know lol, I saw the game on Steam... but the TW3 version looks so much better than the standalone game (go figure). 😂
Strangely enough, Ciri (adult) looks way better made than Ciri (kid). The kid version looks like she's a Dwarf that somehow grew into a Human body. 🤣
I dunno? It's possible they went with that design choice? But I know thing, my Geralt is going to murder that person regardless. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh come on! You weren't supposed to admit that about the personality test. 😂😂😂 Now I don't feel special anymore, well I feel... special, but not not in a good way now. 🤣
You should totally get your Wii out, and place it on loops for several hours. That being said, there are videos online about stuff like Nyan Cat, Gandalf Sax, Where has the Rum gone?, They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard! etc., and then loops for 10 hours (if you search for the 10 hour versions). Those are GREAT, I love them. I would sometimes play those videos, usually for at least several hours. But, I could understand how someone may not necessarily want to. 😂
Oh yeah! You were making THE choice of a lifetime. I am surprised you are THAT far honestly. Damn...
Currently, I am brawling with some guys and just became champion of the port city (the one before you set sail). Going back to Velen first though to become champion there. That being said, I'm only doing it for the money lol. Good money to be made from all the fights together. As for the story thus far, well, the Baron is dead. So is his wife. Wasn't my plan for this to happen, but what can you do? I didn't like the Baron, I thought he was a maniacal wife beater who enjoyed making a fool of himself.
Well then, if you want a story... let me create one of for you. Starting with several paragraphs for Chapter 1 of a story I will call "The Golden Age of Chaos".
Characters (Male Dwarf: Hornack, Female Human: Selene, Male Human: Craven. Best I can do on such short notice, as I usually take a while to come up with names (and titles). 🤣🤣🤣 The rest to come later I guess). Thus, here are the first bits of a story just for you, Katie:
Hornack: "My love grows for you every aching moment I am without you."
Selene: "Is this why you are now as tall as I am, my love?"
Hornack: "Laugh all you will, but we both know the pain in your heart is what lets that sadness burst out of your chest. It has become your way of protecting that fragile love for me.
I may be a lowly Dwarf from the Mining Caste, yet I know the worth of gold is nothing in comparison to that bond we share. Aye, 'tis true that many have threatened our love because they couldn't stomach how such a beautiful woman such as yourself could adore a Dwarf like myself."
As he softly spoke to Selene, she became teary eyed as she couldn't imagine a life devoid of his love. Slowly, her hand delicately caressed his face.
Selene: "I... I am sorry. I too know the pain in your heart. I wish it wasn't so. The moment I met you all those years ago, I knew I would love you. There was a brightness within you, a light that would drive the darkness from my heart, when I had nothing to live for. I was at the precipice of the end, as I felt no one understood the spirit within my heart."
As she spoke those words, melancholy grasped at Hornack's heart. Feint tears rolled down his cheeks as he knew that their love felt forbidden. He then gently placed his hand upon hers, still on his face.
Hornack: "Don't you dare cry for me! I am here now, which is what does matter. The night your brother Craven came, I remember the ominous night sky as we drowned in pourin' rain. Hand in sword, he told me he would kill me should I pursue the one I loved - you. Then, in a flash as he drew his sword, I was ashamed I had to fight the brother of the woman I loved. When it was all said and done, he laid in my arms and said, "I will haunt you for the rest of your life if you ever hurt her..." as he then faded from this world."
Selene: "Oh! Do not blame yourself! Even though I mourn the loss of my brother, he was mad! To think he knew better than me when it came to you, I..."
Falling on her knees, she burst out in tears, and her hands covering her eyes as she cried. Knowing full well the rest of her life would feel like a cursed existence, Selene vowed to herself to never let her kin dictate the person she would be. Truly being her height now, Hornack clutched her. His left hand clasped the back of her head, towards his chest.
Hornack: "There will be a place for you and me, sweetheart. If not here, then perhaps in the mines or in the greenery of a distant land. Wherever you are, I will be there with you and for you. I couldn't imagine a life where you are but a distant memory. As for your brother, I truly am sorry he had to die by my hands. I... can't imagine how the death of your twin brother must feel. Aye, though I suspect that there is a hollow feeling where your heart is.
Every day will be a painful reminder that your life is but a half-life. I'll never be able to fill it, but at the end of it all: I promise I will be the one to bury you so you never have to bury me. You've suffered so much already, and I couldn't bear the thought of you having to suffer more than you need to."
Selene: "Thank you, my love"

Alright, I gotta go cheer up now lol. I had to feel those emotions in order to write that lol.
