Kits you would actually buy
I know Kits are controversial and not well liked, I am not a fan either and find most of them have missed the mark. But I was thinking: what kind of kit would I like? Since the bloomin room kit was...

Body hair - from debates it sounds like this is not something everyone wants in game so having it in a kit might be the way to go. However, in order to justify putting a price tag on this, it should come with something more like for instance a beard that grows, working razors both mechanical, non-mechanical and the really old fashion Sweeney Todd-like razors as well as the option to shave others so that we could have barbershops and maybe even a buff from shaving or being shaved sort of equivalent to the one from getting our sims’ nails done.
Not everyone wants to wear a beard, either. I'm not sure why you think body hair couldn't be just as optional as facial hair is at present. I'd be glad to see body hair in the game, but I wouldn't buy a kit for it; that's something that I'd expect to see added to the base game. For now I use CC body hair for my sims who would normally have any. I do not want hair of any kind that grows, though, not for head, face, or body, especially not if people have to pay just to get more facial hair styles or ANY body hair at all.
That said, I wouldn't mind at all if some really "out there" styles were released in a kit for people who can make use of niche kit items for their own varied purposes. I'd probably pass on it myself, but I hope kits don't start offering any kind of truly basic stuff that would make more sense as base game updates or various pack updates.
