It's not built on storytelling in my opinion. It's all about CAS. End of story. It's a mere avatar game where you pose Sims and take screen shots and make up storylines. That might be story to some, but not to me, that is just posing Sims. Story telling to me is when I send a Sim to the store and there arrives their arch enemy and pokes them in the chest and they get into a knock down, drag out fight, and I'm like what?! >:) only to remember my Sim insulted that Sim a week earlier. That is story telling..
