The latest Sims 4 game pack is basically Hogwarts
Joining the long line of magic-themed Sims expansions.

The latest Sims 4 game pack has been revealed to be entitled Realm of Magic and introduces a whole magical world full of spell-casting Sims. In the trailer, we see a regular ol’ humdrum Sim stumble into this new realm, where he meets a woman who gives him fantastical powers. There are wand fights, colorful potions, broomsticks, and a city full of magic.

The Sims series has a long tradition of introducing magical-themed additions to the life simulation. The original game had Makin’ Magic and The Sims 3 had Supernatural. The Sims 2, meanwhile, introduced witches via Apartment Life, for some reason. Currently, The Sims 4 has vampires, aliens, ghosts, mermaids, skeletons, and PlantSims — oh my!

Earlier this year, the StrangerVille game pack featured a paranormal storyline set in an eerie desert town, while the Island Living expansion pack introduced the island world of Sulani, filled with volcanoes, beaches, and mermaids.

Sims 4: Realm of Magic will come out on Sept. 10

Least their not too off base some articles are horribly misinformed...
  • I didn't get a Hogwarts vibe, either. I get that more from TS3's magic brooms where our Sims can practice riding them. I didn't see any of that in the trailer. Or heck I might be half asleep and thinking about the actual School in the HP games I recently reloaded to play, lol. And my characters were practicing riding their brooms. But I was also playing magic in TS3 so everything is a blur.

I think you're misinterpreting this article. The College of Winterhold is from Skyrim, it is not in the Sims.

I didn't write the article they did - so how am I misinterpreting anything. I provided a link to their article.

I also recall a Darven Winterhold years ago in another game - a board game no less (D & D)- so Skyrim does not have an exclusive hold to it either. I have been gaming since gaming existed by the way.

But technically - none of it is real. So it doesn't matter - it's a game - have fun with it. Sheesh!
