I'm sure that REALM does not refer to Medieval times or kings and queens. I think in this case it refers to a domain of interest, in this case, magic. It could have two neighborhoods similar to Strangerville. One could be a residential neighborhood. The other could be a town square area with a few shops and food carts and ingredient shops. There could be a dueling area and a broom arena (Quidditch for the Harry Potter fans).
I imagine it to be sectioned neighborhoods. Like one for werewolves, one for witches, etc. Neighborhoods themed around the specific occult!
