Realm of Magic: Stories Discussion

My current legacy family lives in Sulani. Their son, Magnus, is a teen who wanted to be a doctor in his youth so he could help people. Now, seeing the beautiful island his celebrity father moved them to slowly being ruined with trash and waste, he's going to use his scouting skills and become a conservationist. Through his beach clean ups, he'll meet a beautiful native islander named Keiana - little does he know she's a mermaid. They'll fall in love, as he's always been pretty open to theidea of occults, and when they have children, whichever one is born not a mermaid will feel extremely left out. When that one becomes a teen, they read a book titled 'Legends of Glimmerbrook' and take note of the mention of a magic realm rumoured to exist through a portal in the Glimmerbrook woods. Desperate to be 'special' like their mermaids sibling(s), they sneak out one night and search for it. When they find it, it'll only be a matter of time until they become a spellcaster - who's special now?
