Hopefully it means that you can send a sim to the world and thus "opt in" to magical things but if you don't, you can maintain a realistic game.
I also hope they bring back the occult toggles in the options as well. Even with MCCC my game will insist on generating vampires and aliens that I have to keep deleting from realistic saves.
Looking forward to the trailer - usually, I don't bother with them (I'd rather read a description than watch something), but I have so many questions about this pack! I'm hoping we won't get werewolves, or that you'll have to do something out of the ordinary to generate them. (Mermaids have worked out nicely in IL - I still haven't seen one, as far as I know. They're much less annoying than the aliens in GTW - you should be able to pursue a career or use the observatory without worrying about your Sim being abducted or the game generating NPC aliens.)
Anyway, I do want witches (I don't consider them to be an 'occult' because they actually exist), so I'm hoping I won't have to deal with other occults in order to get them. (Also, I'd rather they concentrated on making witches awesome than making witches and werewolves and whatever that are just 'ok'.)
Since SimGuruHouts sort of apologised for the 'werewolfish' pics, that might indicate they're not in the pack, and he didn't want werewolf fans getting their hopes up? (Sorry, I'm being totally selfish here, but I'm still jealous of all the BB items in the Vampire pack that I can't have without the actual vampires.)
