It's been confirmed, no Werewolves & only a tiny Village like Forgotten Hollow. Hopefully, the Magic Portal will take a sim household into a "Whole New World" like the Enchanted Forest in "Once Upon A Time" & that the sims can actually live there.
How do you know this? Where was it confirmed?
Only thing confirmed is no werewolves and it’s a world similar like Forgotten Hollow with a surprise, a simguru said it’s something never seen before in the sims. It hasn’t been said it’s a “tiny village”No word on number of lots or anything regarding the world
Edit: not confirmed no werewolves, pictures just do no show a werewolve transformation- Madamelee6 years agoLegend

they didn't say there weren't no werewolfs they just said those pictures weren't anything to do with werewolves. Maybe we should wait to see what the trailer holds? "MadameLee;c-17207118" wrote:

Thanks! I am not particularly bothered by the new world being only the size of Forgotten Hollow; I like that world a lot. Just like I only have a few vampire families I don't plan to have that many magic practitioners in any particular save. And even the original Magic Town was not very big. I believe there were only 5 or 6 community lots there, and just 3 lots in Creepy Hollow (the residential area of Magic Town). "simfriend1968;c-17207187" wrote:

yeah tbh I'd love a small world as long as it has lots of things to do and there is no fx houses I'm not fussed about how many lots we get just hope it has some small/medium size lots because i hate trying to fill big ones- jacknifelee6 years agoSeasoned Ace

Is that an Eluvian? XD
Is there a premade arrogant bald nerd behind it? :rage:
Edit: Oh, and I like the new hairstyle! Just wanted something like that for one of my sims when she gets older :relieved: "Mariefoxprice83;c-17206505" wrote:
I think the portal would have to be in one of the base game worlds.
Or we get a new small world (like Forgotten Hollow) and they put the portal there for witches and wizards to get to the Realm of Magic to meet up with other magic users or to look for magical ingredients (maybe newts for eye of newt since we already have frogs) or special plants to add to their home gardens."Idontrcall;c-17206501" wrote:
I love New Orleans, too.
I like swamp witches, I usually had one in Twinbrook in Sims 3. And a swampy area would mesh well with that concept art that has been floating around for years (the one with the old hut).
Also, someone asked if a portal would be placed in every world. I don't think that's necessary since all worlds are combined in Sims 4. My guess, however, is that it would be placed in the new world.
Very excited for this & more information.
I wonder if the portal will be available in the Debug catalog so people could place them in other worlds, for example hide one in the back portion of the big park in Willow Creek.- GrumpyGlowfish6 years agoSeasoned AceMaybe the portal will appear in all (base game) worlds, but only be visible to witches, like monsters under the bed are only visible to children. Witches won't have to sit through an additional loading screen to get to the portal (wherever it may lead), but realistic players also won't have to put up with unrealistic stuff in their neighbourhood because as long as they don't have a playable witch in their household, they will never even see or be able to interact with the portal.
That's just an idea, though. Looking at the picture, I don't actually recognise the world the portal is in; looks like Granite Falls to me, but that's unlikely. I would love for the new world to be a residential forest looking similar to Granite Falls, though. And what if the portal leads to a more colourful magic version of the same world? That way we could technically get two new worlds without much effort, and the non-magic version of the world could still be inhabited by ordinary people. - amber_ilumire6 years agoSeasoned Ace

I'd imagine it would be? It depends on what the portal is actually used for I guess. If the portal itself is required for magic in the first place then they'd probably put it in Debug mode so that sims over every world could have access to one.
Are other entrances to secret locations available in Debug mode? I haven't looked in so long.
