Okay... for ... story reasons, I don't want to do this with my current legacy. I have no problem starting a new save for this, but if I want to go back to my legacy save, how will having two active saves impact this, and can I ignore it in my Legacy Save? Basically, I don't want to put my main save on hold for two months, but I also don't want to do this particular series of quests with the way I have it structured.

I would like to know this as well. I am also thinking about my main sim family. I would like them to enjoy the birth of their first baby without death being present. Will this quest be activated for all households in a save or just one? What happens if the sims you use for this quest die?
It seems to be activated for all households and, once complete, shows as complete throughout the save whichever household you load.
