Bands are one thing I'd love to have back and you have some great reasons for bringing it all back, especially because I'd like some more instrument variety in the game, especially brass, woodwind, that sort of thing. I agree, it'd work great with Get Famous, especially if your actions affect the Reputation, which in turn might affect the success of your band. Having lots specific for gigs is also a cool idea, maybe as a Lot Type. Flashy outfits would also be awesome now you mention it.
