"Receive Props"

Give Props is a teen interaction in the Friendly menu. They also have Whisper About Crush and a few others.

As for the Help interaction, I just noticed that one myself. I thought it was from one of my mods. I noticed it's usually when the other sim is sad.

@SweetieWright_84 Thank you for that information. Jackson must have done it autonomously.

I don't think Jackson was sad before I saw him, but he might have been. I don't have many mods at all, so I think it's been added to the base game, or perhaps a pack we both own.

Incidentally, Jackson is Jackson Harris, from one of your households that Z and I brought into our game. :smile:

I have a hunch it is part of the new neighborhood stuff they patched in. At any rate, it's cool. My Teens have had the Give Props interaction for quite some time. :) It's always fun to come across things you've never seen or experienced in the game before.

I'm not sure really when or where it came from but I just noticed it the other day when one of my sims were sad. My other sim could "Help Out." Like I said, I thought it was from one of my mods. I use Beinchen's Conversation Tweak mod and a few other social interaction mods from other creators.

It has been so long since I created that family, I had to think about who he was. :D

@GalacticGal I haven't played Teens very much, so I hadn't seen it. My Sim is a very Young Adult, so it makes sense for him to have friends who are still Teens, especially if they're approaching their birthdays.

@SweetieWright_84 I think I have Conversation Tweak, too, along with a few other mods by Bienchen. Hers are really good; they and Lotharihoe's mod that keeps Townies in their home worlds really added to the enjoyment I get from TS4.

I've had many Teens in my game. :) Not to mention just how many times I've had to restart my Cantrell family game save. This family starts out with four Teens. :open_mouth:

I don't have mods and I've had both these interactions available for perhaps as long as I've owned the game. Give Props is a teen interaction. Help Out is from the Good trait. :)

I know Give Props have been in the game since almost the beginning but I've never noticed Help Out until recently. Thanks for clarifying that though. :)

I have several of Bienchen's mods. Her whims overhaul and traits overhauls make the game so much better for me. I've seen Lotharihoe's Townies mod but I don't have that one installed. I may have to add that one.

@SweetieWright_84 Lotharihoe's mod works exactly the way I want. It stops premade Sims from spawning in worlds other than their own; the Landgraabs don't jog past a Sim's cottage in Henford-on-Bagley, and the mermaids from Sulani don't have lifetime memberships at the gym in Windenburg. However, you do see Sims from different worlds at cafés, bars, nightclubs, and festivals. Much of the crowd at a club in Windenburg will be from the area, but you might see a few "visitors." They also seem to be Sims who like to party, but that might be a case of confirmation bias.

We also use another of Bienchen's mods that allow stray dogs and cats to spawn outside Brindleton Bay. They're not everywhere, and they fortunately don't seem to be in constant poor health.

@GalacticGal I teach young teenagers, so perhaps that's why I don't always choose to fill my Simworlds with them. :smile:

I have a real-life Child who is about to "eat her birthday cake," "age up," and become a Teen. Her next "real" birthday will be her thirteenth. I wonder if she will immediately transform her appearance, reach her adult height, pick her grown-up Aspiration, gain a new Trait, and start building new Skills? :smile:

Z does wish there was a life stage that was more like her. She's not a small child anymore, like the Sims Children are.
