Recycle disciple timer

I consider the new Recycle Disciple trait for my junkyard owner sim, but read that when such sims go too long without having recycled something, they will do so on their own. Do we already know how long that timer is and how this works with rotational play? I do not want to come back to the junkyard after having played other households only to see Dan shredding his laptop.
