Relationship cheat not working for vampire?

So, I just started a new save, and I was trying to edit the relationship of my vampire (Alex) and his to-be girlfriend (Jessie). However, the cheat for editing the relationship bars is not working. But when I tried it from another human to Jessie, it worked fine? Is this a glitch? A known bug? I dunno :D
