Relationship Issue

There appears to be an issue with my sim self's mother and her brother. Look at the screenshots. The sim profile show's him as her brother:

On her family tree it shows they are siblings:

Yet when i interact with Declan while playing as my sim self's mother, she is able to be romantic with him:

Is the game not seeing Declan as a relation to her? There are no free love NAP's in places so i am stumped on this. Her husband got jealous when my sim self's mother asked Declan about his romantic preferences.

    Glad you got that sorted out. That whole problem we had was disconcerting, to say the least.

    I have a feeling it was because i added her relationships with MCCC. I remember getting frustrated because when i created her siblings with play with genetics in CAS it ruined the family tree links so i added the relationships with MCCC instead.

    It can make a mess of things sometimes, but I think on my part it was user malpractice. LOL
