Do not be confused about what a Sims 4 trait slot is. There are many different factors that make us the person we are. Same goes for a Sim.
Currently 4 trait categories exist in CAS:
- Emotional
- Hobby
- Lifestyle

Vegetarian & Lactose Intolerance would automatically fall under the Lifestyle category. Why?
Well…Obviously you need to change your lifestyle when suffering from any intolerance, may it be lactose, nuts, gluten, meat, you name it.
It’s life changing. It should all go under the lifestyle trait.
Sure, it would be great to get extra trait slots for our Sims , but to call the addition of this lactose intolerance trait mockery is a “little” far fetched.
I personally believe that the trait fits perfectly within the lifestyle category and I think the team did well to add it there.
And seriously OP, if you don’t want it, don’t use it. Plenty of folks who do!

Actually you are right... I forgot the traits fall into different categories and it's not just personalities per se. I think a lot of us forget that...
I guess the idea is to choose one from each category. But I still say we need more slots. Maybe one day...
