Removing a family/household help
Not sure where this belongs, so forgive me if this is in the wrong spot. I started a new save, but want to remove a household as I don't want this particular family in this slot for story purposes. ...

Did you evict them? Or, you could move them. Just click on the lot, select the tools for build mode, and select the ellipses dots (…) From there you can evict or move them. If you evict them, I think they're gone for good. If you wish to have them in your game save, then I would suggest you simply move them.
As for your 'missing' builds, check out the news page, I think it is. You should find new adds be it lots or Sims on screen right. I know, I had this fear when I upgraded my lot and wanted to save it. It wasn't in my library until the next time I powered up my game. I did find them on one of the other pages. It may be under News, or Home, or whatever it's called. Not the Gallery page, itself.
