Rental lot type is available in Sulani but can't access like a vacation world

You can place rental type lots in Sulani.

EDIT: But it seems they can't be accessed like you would be going on a vacation.

    It's a part of the game. I have no such mods, and it's only available in Sulani outside of the vacation areas.


    That's pretty cool and a nice touch. If you have a rental lot in Sulani, does the world show up as one of the places you can choose from when you choose to go on vacation?


    I'll test it out and let you know. I just saw the rental option in the lot settings in build mode.

    Sadly, you it seems you cannot access them as vacation via phone or destination though... It just appears to be an option to turn it into a rental lot which only works in Sulani is available... :(


    So you can't take vacations there even though you can place rentals? Hmmmm that's weird.


    Yup and its been that way since the release of OR.


    Back to the vacation home workaround. :)

    I think it might be a bug then?

    Sulani is a residential world. The game is only designed to let sims vacate to destination worlds. Hopefully this gets fixed. Or they actually add the ability to vacate there.

    What about if you travel there from map view? can you go to the lot and can you go inside the building?

    If anyone actually wants to make Sulani a vacation world, zerbu's mod for making vacation worlds residential (and vice versa) has been updated.

    Thank you so much for this. I've always wanted places like Forgotten Hollow and Windenburg to be vacation spots and now Sulani! :)

    I tried this. You can travel there, but the lot cannot be used. Similarly to when you visit a vacated house, or an occupied house before knocking on door.

    I was REALLY excited to see this. Maybe they can make it a viable option in patch?

    Unlikely I know, but a girl can dream.
