Rentals anywhere?

I believe it's only a vacation rental and it might only be available in Snowy Escape (EP) but I'm not sure.

That's awful. Why would they put a wall pay...

I think it came with the patch, to all players, before snowy escape, but i'm not 100% sure about it... You need to download a home from the gallery (or build your own or use a premade home), set it as residential and then load it and in the left upper corner change the lot type to rental.

It's a lot type...it was patched.

In the upper left corner in build mode you can change the lot type to rental.

Visit the lot you want to rent. It must be unoccupied. Open the Build/Buy menu. Click on the Info icon in the top left corner to display the Lot Type and other information. Click on the Lot Type dropdown and choose Rental. Go back to Live mode, return home, and use the phone to go on vacation. You can do this on any unoccupied lot in any world.

I cannot see this as an option put. Sorry if I sound malicious, I am just very confused. I do know where to put other lot types.

I should check for updates. Thank you everybody for help o:) I think what I am putting is nonsensical, sorry if I sounded malicious.

@BettyNewbie1 you didn't sound malicious at all :) i hope you can find the problem. Checking the updates sounds good. This came out last june. Also maybe trying to repair your game... good luck and happy simming :)
