Rentals anywhere?

I believe it's only a vacation rental and it might only be available in Snowy Escape (EP) but I'm not sure.

I think it came with the patch, to all players, before snowy escape, but i'm not 100% sure about it... You need to download a home from the gallery (or build your own or use a premade home), set it as residential and then load it and in the left upper corner change the lot type to rental.

It's a lot type...it was patched.

Yes, I don't see the option to put as this when I build.

In the upper left corner in build mode you can change the lot type to rental.

Visit the lot you want to rent. It must be unoccupied. Open the Build/Buy menu. Click on the Info icon in the top left corner to display the Lot Type and other information. Click on the Lot Type dropdown and choose Rental. Go back to Live mode, return home, and use the phone to go on vacation. You can do this on any unoccupied lot in any world.

I should check for updates. Thank you everybody for help o:) I think what I am putting is nonsensical, sorry if I sounded malicious.

@BettyNewbie1 you didn't sound malicious at all :) i hope you can find the problem. Checking the updates sounds good. This came out last june. Also maybe trying to repair your game... good luck and happy simming :)

Did that update get applied for the PS4? Or maybe only for PC?

Info I found said the patch update the console version to 1.33

Initially I had trouble finding the Rental lot type because it was way down at the bottom of the list out of view until you scroll down the window.
