Reset sim age?

So I am playing on long life span with mccc...one of my children is 3 days out of 52 and she just met a potential future mate I think would be great to play off as the geeky lovers who met as children....the problem is mr Alexander goth is at 41 out of 52 days and will way outrun my sims age

Mccc has the option to set age so I could change him to young adult or teen or whatever but is there a way to just reset his child age? I was thinking if I change him to another life cycle then back it might work but he might also lose the whole geekiness about him which is kind of what I liked about him in the first place...any idea if he would go back to the same look and traits? Or if theres a different idea for resetting his age even? Any suggestion would be appreciated

  • @LaBlue0314 Alexander is a child...this won't be a problem right? Will the goth family willingly loan me their child?

Also how do you merge if you dont mind me asking?
  • @Voldarian_Empire It won't be a problem, any age can be merged, even infants. I have many times merged children when I was wanting to do something with them but didn't want to play their households after I was done I sent them back home.

This is how or where you need to go to merge a sim with another household. I'll use the Goth family as an example since you mentioned Alexander. :)

There are two ways you can go about this with the same result. Either click on the sim's house they live in, or in the top right corner click on the thing I have the red arrow point to. When you click on the home, look down at the lower right side of the picture, click on the one I have the yellow arrow pointing to. These both do the same thing.

Next you should have a one for merging sims or households with other households, like this first picture in this group.

Choose which household you want to merge with, and click on the sim you want to merge, and afterwards click on the check mark at the bottom.

Now you will have Alexander with the other family of your choosing. Do what you need, and afterwards you can just repeat the earlier steps to put him back with his family.

  • @LaBlue0314 thanks a lot for all the effort you put into that for me...it will be very helpful as soon as I'm able to get back at my sims game

Well hes in the goth family I am sure they wouldn't be that hard to find...they were always rich in previous games....my daughter met him at the dog park in brindleton bay...

I've never actually done much with changing households have you? @hadklax

I mean I've got a lot invested in the family time wise (4 toddlers at once for like 22 days was insane) and I do not want to mistakenly lose something because I do something silly

The Goth family resides in Willow Spring.
