I got JtB as a gift and I gotta say, it is an awesome pack and I haven't even played with the actual game part. I find myself choosing a lot of the Batuu clothes and decor while playing. A lot of the furniture and decor are industrial and you can make some really unique lots or even just put some of this stuff in normal houses/businesses for some oomph.
I'd love to see an HP tie in and I'd love an official Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and Kings Cross Station. I think I'd be thrilled to have characters like voldemort and wormtail in the game. The only thing, though, is that I wouldn't want it to be like the books or movies. I want my own characters and no checklists! I despise checklists. Just make an open ended game that I can play through as much as I want with as many stories and scenarios as I can think up. I hated Strangerville for it's lack of anything and completely scripted play. That was the worst game pack in my opinion. I don't want any more of those types.
But dear gawd...please give me bad guys. This game desperately needs something negative happening.

I don't think it's controversial to say that the Sims 4 community almost collectively hates Journey to Batuu. There are a myriad of reasons and various content creators far more eloquent than I, as well as many lively internet discussions can attest to why it's so bad.
Star Wars and the Sims 4 are just incompatible as a concept. The gameplay is doomed to fail. It comes off as a greedy cash grab.
But you do know what franchise makes perfect sense and would be perfect for a a collab? So much so that various mods and custom builds already exist in Sims 4 community?
Mother-effing Hogwarts. There's a sorting ceremony, afterwards your sim will only stay at that House's common rooms. It will work like Discover University but for witch/wizards. There's a goal your Sim can work towards (Winning the House cup) at the end of their stay at Hogwarts. Do good in your classes and you earn points, pull off mayhem and mischief and you lose points. So there's actually a challenge.
They can make Hogwarts itself one whole district/world. Then Diagon Alley is another world, with Hagrid's Hut/the Forest/Quidditch Grounds the third district.
Guys. This is such a missed opportunity. A Sims 4-Harry Potter collab would be straight fire. I don't know how EA never thought of this in the first place? They already tried to recreate Diagon Alley in Realm of Magic anyway. I guess that can't do that since another game dev is already working on a Harry Potter RPG but... We can all dream right?
