ROM: Magic As Skill Or Life State
The options are: 1. Magic as a skill that everyone including vampires and mermaids can learn 2. Magic as an exclusive ability of a new life state separate from humans, vampires, etc.

Definitely a skill tree like get famous. Hereditary magic just makes me…agitated for some reason. Like I get that you all want toddlers and kids to do magic (finger crossed the sims team won’t wimp out on doing the extra animations) but you could easily do that by having the ability to teach it to them or having them learn it on their own. Maybe toddlers can watch adults cast spells and copy them, helping with their thinking/imagination/moter skill simultaneously. Kids can be taught kiddy spells.
