@mightysprite Thank you for the welcome! I'm enjoying the vibe of this forum. It seems much less toxic than others I've experienced. At the very least, I haven't noticed the toxicity myself.
@Zimz4 I appreciate your explanation very much. My "real" Sim is a single guy with the Outgoing trait. I've had him flirt casually with two or three of the young women, although he stopped being flirty with one of them when he discovered she's married. He has barely filled romance bars with two of them; one is a Friend and the other a Good Friend.
I won't have him flirt with either of them when the other is around. For one thing, I'm "playing" him as a nice guy. And, I'm planning to send him to university soon.
That reminds me of another question, which is only partially related to romance. In TS3, life basically "freezes" back home when a Sim goes off to college. Does the same thing happen in TS4? I'm assuming my Sim can move into the other worlds I have available. Will the Sims there go on with their lives, if I have story progression enabled?
