@ACruelButLovingGod I would be one who would have his hand up. I remember how uncomfortable it felt to see a college girlfriend flirt with her ex-boyfriend, even though both of them said there was nothing to it. I was inclined to believe him even more than her, because he and I had been friends for a while. If Sims can "feel" the same way, it would make sense.
@Jyotai I haven't tried modding my game yet, but the one you mention sounds intriguing. It would have to be "teen friendly," because my daughter, who is 12, likes to sit beside me while I play. My wife and I are careful about how much of the seamier side of Sim-life she gets to see.
@Zimz4 Thanks for the information. In TS3, I feel like I leave one world behind and go to another when my Sim begins a term at university. In TS4, it sounds like my Sims will retain their friendships and will be able to interact with everyone they've come to know in their lives so far.
Now I have to decide if my university-bound Sim will keep his job in Education. He's a Department Head (Level 5), so he's made some progress in his career. He can work from home, so he *could* work around his class schedule...but if he does that, he'll possibly miss out on a lot of university life. That's not unlike the situation a working student faces in the real world, though.
