ok i have forgot is there an option to have a roomate at my house that pays me rent? i cant remeber if that was a past sims game or this one...i looked for the option to have as roomate but didnt see ...

@PinkyPus it's because of a cat. It's a bug, but pets counts as sims in this situation, and you should add one extra bed.
