same, my sims roommate never slept in his bed though it was assigned to him and he could clearly enter the room.
One day he just left saying that he's exhausted and will try to sleep on a park bench...I am not that sad since he was annoying as eff but still...welp, I bought a new bed and moved it a little we'll see if the new roommate likes it better.
