Because in Sims 2, for example, the toddler went to bed whenever they were tired, and when they woke up they’d wail until someone let them out of their cribs (I can still hear it in my head, can you?) Only recently have I given my toddlers a nap during the day and put to bed just before the children would. No strict times, but the toddlers will keep sleeping through the night after their energy is full, unless they need the potty or something. It’s nice, I definitely prefer playing with these toddlers. Are they a little too self-sufficient? Maybe, but they still get plenty of attention (in a locked nursery).
I loved it when there was a Toddler who was able to escape the crib. That was a rare occurrence, but I did have one or two. And, yes, those Sims2 Toddlers had lungs! As in screaming at the top of their. LOL
