I also ended up getting the UI Cheats Extension mod specifically for this reason. Being sad is one thing, but my guy is a vet and always greets patients impatiently when he’s in a bad mood and since he’s the third generation in my family, all my townies are dying and of course he knows them all as they’ve been owners of his patients! I’m honestly more annoyed that vets can’t just put on their big boy pants and be nice when they’re in a bad mood, so of course anything that puts him in an unnecessarily bad mood annoys me.
